Thank you very much for your letter informing us about your point of view at
the situation with the first russian musical show. I am writing to ask your
opinion about nowadays problems which "Nord-Ost" already has. I hope you
will understand my English.
Many people think that "Nord-ost" is something connected with terrorism,
nothing more. I have had a talk with my relative from Ekaterinburg - he said
that all people he had spoken there do not know anything about
"Nord-Ost"-THE MUSICAL. They only heard the news about the terrorist
capture.
Today Mr Vasiliev and Mr Ivashenko are going to create russian travelling
version of "Nord-Ost". And there is a big problem in front of the musical -
its name. People will make for the show if they see the word, which has
tragic associations in their minds. So the main question is what should the
creators do in this compound situation.
Equally with Mr Ivashenko and Mr Vasiliev we also consider this problem on
our forum. I would be grateful if you could expound your opinion of
"Nord-Ost" future advancement.
